Gil Joseph Serafin unexpectedly passed away on February 8, 2018, at his home in Palmdale, CA. He was born February 12, 1958 to Joe and Mary Serafin in San Pedro, CA this is also where he spent his youth attending Hawaiian Avenue Elementary, Dodson Junior High and graduated from Banning High School.
He was survived by his wife Elsa, 8 children Trish, Kristie, Gilbert, Kimberly, Gail, Alyssa, Melanie, and Lauren. Grandchildren Geno, Matthew, Aria, Daniel, Ryleigh, Jacob, Adeline and Vincent. Siblings Georgia, Steven, Greg, and Kathy. Godsons Nicholas and Phillip, and many other nieces and nephews.
Gil's second family was the Los Angeles Police Department whom he had the pleasure of being a part of for over 35 years.
He will be remembered most for his love of food, family, and the New England Patriots.
