Grace (Nné) Ekawekpeni Agbogwu, 74, of Santa Clarita, California, passed away on May 31st, 2023, in Santa Clarita.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 14th, 2023, between 10 a.m. - 2p.m. at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Monarch Room, 23287 Sierra Hwy., Newhall, CA 91321.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 15th, 2023, from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Monarch Room with Pastor Isaac Adeleke of King of Glory Christian Fellowship officiating.

A private burial will follow the funeral service at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, 23287 Sierra Hwy., Newhall, CA 91321.

Grace (Nné) Ekawekpeni Agbogwu was born in Agbor-Nta, Nigeria to Boi & Nkéméti Okwudegbe on December 24th, 1948. She married the love of her life, Augustine Agbogwu on January 29th, 1972, in Agbor, Nigeria.

She worked as a schoolteacher for over 25 years before retiring as an elementary school principal.

Grace (Nné) Ekawekpeni Agbogwu is preceded in death by her parents, Boi and Nkéméti Okwudegbe, and her younger sister, Mildred Okwudegbe.

Grace (Nné) Ekawekpeni Agbogwu is survived by her husband, Augustine Agbogwu, Loveth Akpenyi (daughter), George Akpenyi (son-in-law), Victor Agbogwu (son), Chinyere Agbogwu (daughter-in-law), Benjamin Agbogwu (son), Vivian Sualeze-Agbogwu (daughter-in-law), Lois Agbogwu (daughter), Peace Agbogwu (daughter), Victoria Obuh (sister), Patricia Egbede (sister), Agatha Okwudegbe (sister), Myra Akpenyi (granddaughter), Jesse Akpenyi (grandson), Thalia Akpenyi (granddaughter), Beth-El Agbogwu (grandson), Theodore Agbogwu (grandson), Eliora Agbogwu (granddaughter), Diane Agbogwu (granddaughter), CosisoChukwu Cheche David (grandson) and Brian Agbogwu (grandson).

The family of Grace (Nnè) Ekawekpeni Agbogwu wishes to extend our sincere thanks to her doctors, nurses and staff of Harbor UCLA Hospital and Olive View UCLA Medical Center. We also wish to thank the members of her local church, King of Glory Christian Fellowship.
