HELEN ZAMORA, 87, died July 20 in Simi Valley. She was born July 23, 1923 in Greeley, Colorado. Having lived in Santa Clarita for over 50 years, Helen cooked at nursing homes in the San Fernando Valley and was a volunteer and member of the Respite Staff of the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center in Newhall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie, and her daughter, Antonia (Toni) Dionne. Helen is survived by her daughter, Gloria Kamberian (Van); grandson, Van Kamberian (Rachel) and granddaughter, Tanya Richfeld (Raz); 3 great grandchildren, Donovan Kamberian, Ethan Reichfeld, and Maya Reichfeld. Services were held last Friday, 7/22, at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary. Memorial gifts in Helen's name may be sent to your favorite charity.
