

Hilario “Lalo” Lopez, age 84, passed away at his home of 41 years in Pacoima, California surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He was born on October 19, 1931 in Guadalajara, Mexico to Alejandra Bizarro Lopez and Pablo Lopez. He was one of 4 children; Rosa, Lalo, Isabella, and Margarita Although Lalo only attended up to the 3rd grade he was a great scholar and his favorite pastime was to read the newspaper every day. He came to the United States seeking a better life and worked hard in auto restoration to achieve it. He was a proud US Citizen and loved this country very much, so much so he wanted to start a family here. On March 22, 1964 he married Maria de los Angeles Preciado in Guadalajara, Mexico and the next day they set out for a new life together in Los Angeles, CA. Lalo and Los (his nick name for his beloved wife) were hard working immigrants that had 4 children: Alex, Diana, Liz, and Gaby. He was great husband and exceptional father. Lalo had the kindest of hearts and loved his family very much. He dedicated his life to his family and worked hard to provide them the best life with strong family values. He is cherished and loved by his beloved wife of 51 years, his 4 children, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Lalo rests in God’s Garden next to his mother, daughter (Liz) and great granddaughter (Lena Rae).
