Although it's been a year, it feels like many more. I miss you, but you already know that. I'm not sure when we will meet again, but please don't be afraid to come forward and show your spirit. I know you're blessing many others out there, and I hope you're roaming freely. You may have tried to reach me already, but I'll be honest, I'm not very observant. You're going to have to paint an entire picture for me, I'm just that clueless. I don't understand how our two worlds are connected, but I will. It might take some time, but one day I'll figure it out and we'll be able to have an entire conversation over some starbucks coffee and a cheese danish. Last night I went by to see your parents. I held some of your things in my hands and could still smell you. Some days I wake up and can't believe your gone. Some days I am so stricken with grief and some days acceptance. Yesterday I needed to feel you near but still when you presented a rainbow above your moms house I had doubts it was you. I've been thinking about you for the last week. 

I often remember how you were so adamant about saving the leftover food from Starbucks after your shift, and taking it to the hungry. I'm sure you already know this up there... but just a month after your service, Starbucks pledged to donate 100% of their leftovers to those in need. I know it was you. I know you're letting us know you're okay and I know you're watching over all of us, and all of those people in need. I miss you so much Aunti, so much.
