

Joan “Pinky” Randall passed away at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, June 22, 2013. Joan was born in Long Beach, California on January 31, 1931 to Wayne Bedell Caward and Elizabeth Heffner Caward. Her only sister, Carol Kewell, passed away five years earlier.
Joan married Buford “Corky” Randall on January 18, 1951 in Las Vegas, Nevada and was married until Corky’s death in 2009.
During the early days of her marriage, the Randall’s traveled around the country on the rodeo circuit with a dancing horse act.
In 1970, the majority of the Randall family traveled to the Great Adventure Amusement Park in Freehold, New Jersey. Joan performed a dancing horse act with her mother-in-law, Lynn Randall.
After returning to California, Joan became very successful in dressage; both in competition and in training horses and clients.
She is survived by her son Bruce (Verla), daughter Carol Morrissey, grandchildren Joan Mulvaney (Keith) and John R. Morrissey.

A memorial service in celebration of her life will be Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, Newhall, California.
