

He worked as a film technician in Hollywood and San Fernando for over forty years. He then worked as a Data Systems Analyst/Computer Equipment Operator for Olive View Hospital in Sylmar, CA., from which he retired.
Bill is survived by his children Judy (Geno) of Quartz Hill, Jerry (Bac) of Van Nuys, Jim (Shirley) of Quartz Hill; grandchildren Adam, Bret, James (J.R.), Johnathan, Corinne, Dusty, and Jennifer; four great-grandchildren - Gage, Liam, Leisa, Corbin, with another great-grandson on the way!
He was an avid golfer and hit a hole in one at Vista Valencia Golf Course, hole# 13, on 5-24-95. He was also a computer whiz and a brilliant photographer.
A devout Catholic, Bill was very active in the Knights of Columbus, achieving and proudly serving as Grand Knight. Bill served as an L.A. County Reserve Sheriff for many years, and also enjoyed his recent duty on the L.A. Grand Jury, 2009-2010. He had also been a member of the Kiwanis and the SMPTE.
He was an amazing father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.
Bill had a World-Class sense of humor and was very active and independent up until the day God notified him He intended to call him home. Bill suffered a massive stroke two days before Christmas 2011, but fought hard and maintained his sense of humor for nearly six weeks, giving family and friends precious time to shower him with the love he so richly deserved.
Bill went to heaven knowing he was truly loved and had made a difference.
