

A Burial Service will be on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 at 3PM at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, in Newhall, CA
Kojuan was born in Riverside, California on September 26, 1989 to Brenda Miles, who later was adopted to the arms of Terrolynn Turner on the 21st day of September 2001. Kojuan enjoyed playing football for his hometown in Sylmar, California and later took his talents to Walnut, California to play for Mt. San Antonio College t at the collegiate level. Kojuan later relocated to Houston, Texas and took on multiple jobs, but the job he enjoyed the most was a Physical Trainer at local boxing gymnasiums. Kojuan found so much peace practicing his Islamic beliefs and enjoyed most in engaging with other Muslims in prayer at the Islamic Society of Greater Houston. Kojuan was full of life, enjoyed good company and conversation, remembering specific details with friends and family on past events or shared memories. Kojuan was called home on March 9th, 2026 by Allah during Ramadan and leaves behind shared memories, love and a laugh that you can hear a lifetime. Because of Kojuan, we are friends for life, because of Kojuan, we are family. Kojuan was and is an Angel.
Kojuan is survived by his sister, Sheena Turner, brother, Correy Kitchens, mothers Terrolynn Turner and Brenda Miles, and his two uncles, Rodney Miles and David Douthard.
