

Larry Ellis Bryant was born on March 18, 1948 to the late Lewis H. and Minnie L. Bryant in Seattle, Washington. Being the second of six children and the eldest son, Larry is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sandra Bryant, and his sister Beverly Bryant.
Larry loved his family deeply, often putting their needs before his own. He graduated from Boston Trade High School in 1967, joining the Air Force following graduation, and served for 20 faithful years. Larry retired from the Air Force on July 1, 1987.
While in the Air Force, Larry was blessed, and kept safe, having fought in the Vietnam War in 1969 while honing his trade as a plumber. On May 16, 1976 he married the love of his life Sandra Owens in Tokyo, Japan. Together they were blessed with their two children; a son, Larry Ellis Bryant II born on July 29, 1978 and a daughter, Megan Denise Bryant born on June 19, 1983. As fate would have it, Larry lost his wife and mother to his children on May 15, 1986. Before her death he promised her that if anything happened to her that he would raise their two children together. Larry kept his promise.
Larry was a lover of music, movies, and sports. He played football and was a DJ. He had a massive collection of movies, records, and CD’s. Larry loved family get-togethers, often hosting family gatherings in his home. He enjoyed seeing the smiles of his loved ones. Larry lived his life to the fullest and had a full life.
Larry is survived by his son, Larry Bryant II and his partner Kimberly Souliere of Santa Clarita, CA, his daughter Megan Bryant of Houston, TX; his grandsons, Brennen Cooper and Larry Ellis Bryant III; his sisters, Ernestine Durham and her husband Robert of Charleston, SC, Minnie Bryant of Taunton, MA, Linda Reed-Campbell and her husband Edward of Raynham, MA; his brother Lewis Bryant and his wife Helen of Cambridge, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
