I can't believe she's gone. I keep trying to think of something to write, and I haven't been able to find the words. I really wanted to be there yesterday - but, due to distance and the girls' schedules - it didn't work for me. I remember 15 years ago as if it were yesterday. We met at Gymboree when Brett and Sofia were babies. I remember always wondering how she got out of the house with a baby, looking so beautiful and perfect. Then I left Santa Clarita for 5 years, and when I came back I saw her for the first time at Northpark, and WOW - she looked as if even one day hadn't passed. I know she truly will be missed, and I also know that she will always be remembered. She'll be in the hearts of many people forever - and she'll always be in the souls of your 3 sons.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Please know that we are keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.  I have so many fun memories of Laurie starting in Jr. High and continuing on to Hart.  I met Laurie on the first day of school because our lockers were right next to one another.  We became good friends and spent many hours together throughout the years.  I remember boating on the river, drill team, sleepovers, hanging out at the Wright's house with my family and cheering together at Hart. She was an important part of my life and I will always remember her smile and the fun times we had. She has left a legacy for all those that knew her.

My heart goes out to Chris and the boys.  The triumphs and struggles you have had over the past three years has been more than one person should endure in a lifetime.  Laurie was a beautiful person inside and out.  I remember talking with Laurie about all the changes she had to make to get better and I thought..."you are one strong lady."  If anything bothered her on the inside she did a great job of hiding it on the outside.  I never saw Laurie without a smile on her face. I am so sorry for your loss. She loved the 4 of you more than anything in the world. Laurie was such an amazing mother, wife and friend. I met Laurie and Chris at the Hart baseball field when Tyler and Kadyn were on the same team. I will never forget how beautiful she was. Her smile, her hair (always curled and beautiful), always carring something with bling on it. She loved anything sparkly. Her positive spirit and always happy. We were the team's cheerleaders. Dear Chris, Laurie's boys, and her family,

I am so sad to hear of Laurie's passing and I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know you will all miss her very much. My heart drops for you and your pain. 

I have the fondest, fun-est and happiest memories of Laurie. We first met when we were both Tri Delt pledges living in the Tri Delt house. We shared the back bedroom and were excited about the new adventures that we about to embark upon - especially the ones with our new neighbors, the boys in the Phi Delt house.

I remember Laurie coming home from her first date with a handsome Phi Delt who drove a cool muscle car. We stayed up late and talked for a long time about Chris. She was excited and glowing, thinking about the possibilities...the rest is history. 

Mostly, I remember Laurie's friendship. She was a great friend, a wonderful listener, and very fun! We share a lot of memories during that time in our lives and I'm so glad to have known her. She had a heart a gold that was evident to all who knew her. Thinking back to some of the sillier things (like maybe, possibly, I might have sneaked in her cupboard and eaten chips ahoy cookies without asking...) I can still hear her laughter...
