Mark, thank you for changing my life. Thank you for all that you’ve done for me. Thank you for being a mentor to me. You took a chance on a kid with a drive and a motivation to learn. You thought me everything I know about making money and how to value it.  But most importantly you thought me how to love and that nothing is more important than family. The love you had for your family was inspiring. You were so happy to be a grandpa. 

I had the best times of my life under your wing. I’ll never forget how we traveled the country together. I’ll never forget how you introduced me to the best steak I ever had - you told me it’s going to ruin steak for me, and it did! The A5, Japanese Wagyu. I loved how you used to say “they feed the cows sake, and massage them”. Oh boy, we had so many good times together. But business was always first. And we thrived! Your motivation and energy was inspiring. 

Thank you for everything, Mark. Thank you for introducing me to your lovely family. Thank you for attending to my wedding. I’ll never forget our conversations. 

It kills me to write this, I wish I had come to see you. But it’s ok; I’ll follow one of the last things you texted me; to build a family. Family is truly everything. 

You’ll always be in my heart. I appreciate you so much.  Thank you for changing my life. You’ll never be forgotten.

Dad,
    You are a giant among giants. Goliath himself could never fill your shoes! You are a man with a heart of gold, a soul of pure determination and intuition unrivaled by most. You have impacted the lives of more people than we or you will truly ever grasp. Dad, you have lived a thousand lives. You fell down got up, fell down and got back up again, more times than we can count and more times than you let on. Each time better than before. Like a Phoenix you always rose from the ashes. 
Dad loves his wife, his children, grandchildren  and family more than himself. He would sacrifice himself for all of us no matter the cost. Mom, your husband and best friend. Our father and the grandfather of our children will never be gone. Dad lives on in every family member that has ever known him. His influence is his lasting legacy in all of us. We love you, dad!!!!

I could never ask for a better Dad. I wish I could hear him say “That’s my girl” or “I love you sweetie” one more time. 

Mark Kier -- The man that was the inspiration for so many people.  Your go-to person when you needed advice on ANY issue.  Mark changed so many people's lives with his kindness and unconditional love.  Our love and prayers go out to my sister-in-law,  their children,  and grandchildren.  This wonderful and kind man will be greatly missed by so many people.
