Palmer Lavelle Faragher was born on May 10, 1916 and passed away on May 2, 2012 just shy of his 96th birthday. Palmer was born in Watertown, South Dakota to George and Laura Faragher. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1936. On May 12, 1941, he married Bonita Madelyn Ching in Topeka, Kansas.
Palmer and Bonnie moved to California in 1942 to work at Lockheed Aircraft, where he assembled the P38 Lightening aircraft . In 1945, they returned to Watertown to raise their family but in 1965 moved back to California where they have remained to this day. Palmer had many occupations including, pilot, flight instructor, and installer for Sears. Palmer was a jack of all trades, and could build or repair just about anything.
Palmer was predeceased by his brothers, Morris and Harley and sisters, Laura and Jerri. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, and his five children, Janet, Gary, Mike, Kevin and Alan. He has 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Palmer will be forever loved and deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
