Rosie Garza

She married Guadalupe Garza on August 8, 1959.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Garza, and her grandson’s, Michael Anthony Garza and Freddy James Ortega, Jr, her sister, Lillian Chobak & son-in-law, Mike Stephens.

She is survived by her children, Ruben (Veronica) Garza, Daniel (Linda) Garza, Anita Garza, and Norma Stephens. Grandchildren: Kenneth Garza, Christopher Garza, Daniel (Linda) Garza Jr., Natalie (Francisco) Arredondo, Amber Anguiano, Alina Ortega, Zach Ortega, Sarah Stephens, Isaiah Stephens & Olivia Stephens. Great-grandchildren: Isaac James Ortega, Isabelle Arredondo, Michael Garza & Max Garza. She also leaves behind her sister, Angie Nevarez, and many other family members and friends.

Rosie was a strong, hard-working wife, mother, and grandmother. Her one-liners made us laugh, her love of novellas entertained her during life's hardest times, she loved good music, and we’ll forever miss her Christmas coffee cake. Always in our hearts.
