Samuel Lao Carballo

Samuel Lao Carballo, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023. His final breaths were taken peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family, while The Lord's Prayer was being recited. Samuel was born on March 27th, 1963 in Manila, Philippines to Godofredo Carballo and Carmelita Lao.

Samuel is survived by his wife, Arlene; son Adrian; son Andrei; daughter Samantha; granddaughter Tatum; granddaughter Harlee; and daughter in-law Lauren. Samuel leaves behind his brothers and sisters: being the youngest of 9, an abundance of nieces and nephews, and a tremendous amount of friends.

Samuel was a family man, always putting his family before himself. He worked hard to provide for his family and to also be present for any of his children's events or milestones. Sam loved to fish, watch his favorite TV shows, support Angels and Dodgers baseball, and most importantly spend time with his granddaughters.

Samuel is part of a large family, always the center of attention. He had a big heart and was prideful and selfless. His legacy will live on through his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

Serving as pallbearers are Adrian Carballo, Andrei Carballo, Matthew Blancher, Joshua Blancher, Mark Leal, and Ivan Leal.
