

Theodore Duane Hull (Ted), beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away unexpectedly on December 1, 2024, at the age of 93. Born on May 22, 1931, in Austin, Minnesota, to Theodore and Gertrude Hull, he was preceded in death by all of his siblings.
Ted married Barbara, the love of his life, and together they shared 70 years of marriage, raising six children: Rodney, Denise, Diane, Deborah, Steven, and James. He was a proud grandfather to 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A veteran of the Korean War, Ted served with distinction in the U.S. Army’s Military Police, 40th Infantry Division. His life of service continued long after his military career. He was deeply dedicated to the Boy Scouts of America, serving as Scoutmaster of Troop 2 in Saugus, CA, for over 18 years, earning the Silver Beaver Award, and being named Scoutmaster of the Year. He also served as District Advancement Chairman for the Bill Hart District and Scoutmaster Emeritus of Troop 2222.
Ted was a man of deep faith, actively participating in his church communities at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Saint Clare, and Saint Kateri Catholic Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister for the past decade.
Known for his wisdom, creativity, enthusiasm, and courage, Ted was an extraordinary man who lived a life of purpose and passion. His hobbies included woodworking, gardening, backpacking, and enjoying the outdoors. Above all, his greatest passion was his family. He will be remembered as a dedicated, hardworking, honorable, devout, family-oriented man who embodied the Scout Oath and Law, living with honor, loyalty, and kindness in every aspect of his life.
The family invites all who knew and loved Ted to join in honoring and celebrating his life on January 24, 2025.
