I'm still in complete shock and my heart is so heavy with sadness. Jim will be surely missed. He made an impact on more lives than you will ever imagine. Jim was a great friend of mine for many years. In recent times we had not been in contact with each other but it doesn't change the connection we will always have. Our love for Softball. As a member of the "Animals" of the late 70s and 1980s we shared a lot of wonderful times and victories. Jim was always a very humble guy with an abundance of talent. I am so shook by this. The stories we could share about our many trips to Charlottesville to compete as the rag, tag, team from N.News that you didn't want to face. God Bless his family and friends. We have lost one of the good ones!! RIP my good friend......

I don't know how to express the saddness of hearing of Jim's passing. He was a teammate and a friend. The last time we spoke, his eyes were lit up as we talked about our grandkids. We'll miss him. We send our prayers to Alice, Lori and the rest of the family. God Bless You, Jim.
