He was born in Catawba County, NC on December 18, 1946, to the late Clarence Arthur Parker and Bertha Virginia Speagle Parker. He served in the US Army for two years and 20 years in the US National Guard. Larry was a truck driver for Shelba D. Johnson trucking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Kay Hefner Parker; brothers, Arthur Dean Parker, Ralph Houston Parker.
He is survived by sister, Rachel Levon Parker; brother, Reverend Billy Joe Parker; and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 12pm Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Military honors.
