AMaude Setzer McRee, age 97, formerly of Newton, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Magnolia Manor in Americus, Georgia. Born September 10, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John Quincey Setzer and Mammy Bollinger Setzer. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Reformed United Church of Christ in Newton, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Fred McRee and son, Steve McRee.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, Archie McRee, Ken McRee and wife, Jane; grandchildren, Kelly McRee, Jeff McRee, Scott McRee, Shannon Zellerhoff, Heather McRee, Michael McRee and Amy Morris; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Eastview Cemetery in Newton, NC with Rev. Ryan Brakemeyer officiating.
