She was blessed with grandchildren Bryant, Cynthia, Bradley, Ryan, Jennifer, Alan, and Christie; eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Myrtle was devoted to her family, friends and especially the little ones. She enjoyed cooking – with an exceptional flare for southern foods. Her favorite past times were watching the Food Network, working in her yard and garden as well as engaging in a good political discussion. Enjoying the simple pleasures in life, she taught us all to “stop and smell the roses.” She will be remembered for this and many other special things.
A Private memorial service will be held at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church of which she was a member for 70 years.
