Born January 28, 1938 in Johnson, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Glennis Blackburn McKenzie. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Wanda loved to fish.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years; Virgil Charles Mashburn of the home; son, Walter Fraley and wife, Sandra of Catawba; daughter; Margie Alexander James and husband, Calvin of Johnson City, TN; grandchildren, Shawn Fraley, Ashley Fraley, Samantha James and Andrea James; great-grandchildren, Alexia Fraley, and Zachary Fraley.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2012 in the Chapel of Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. on Sunday at Willis-Reynolds.
