Born to Richard and Bonnie Maslowski on August 14, 1979, Brooke was a 1997 graduate of Newton High School in Newton, NJ, and a 2001 graduate of Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Brooke is survived by her daughter, Calien Rose McNeil, and her husband, Charles McNeil, her parents Bonnie and Richard Maslowski, her brothers Jason and Jordan, their wives Cari and Holly, respectively, nephews Maxwell and Tucker, niece Sadie, Charles’ mother Eilene McNeil, sisters Lori McNeil, Tiffanie Weaver, Kristin Taibbi, Brigitte Hanas, brother Thomas McNeil Jr. and their families. She is predeceased by Charles’ father, Thomas McNeil Sr. She is loved and will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Brooke excelled as a soccer player from a young age, participated on the track team in high school, and was Miss Newton 1998. She was a passionate New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Rangers fan and she worked in her dream job as a probation officer for Warren County for many years. She was a devout aunt to Maxwell, Tucker, and Sadie and never gave a gift without chocolate attached! As an organ donor, Brooke was able to immediately give the gift of life to others.
Brooke requested a Celebration of Life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We invite all who were part of Brooke’s life, recent or past, to join us at the Newton VFW 85 Mill St Newton, NJ, on March 5, 2022, to begin at 2:00 PM With a celebration of Brooke's life at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the future education and care of Calien Rose. Details will be provided on how to do so at the Celebration of Life on March 5th.
