Ed was born in Denville on October 11, 1968, to the late Stanley and Jean (Nazar) Mac. He grew up in Rockaway and earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Rider University.
Ed spent many years out on the west coast learning all aspects of cannabis processing and refinement before returning home to be closer to his family in Sussex County.
Edward is survived by his siblings Diane Hornung (Ron), Joanne Donlin (Bill), John Mac (Michael Digiovanni); his nieces and nephews, Eric Hornung (Jen), Stephan Hornung (Colleen), Jen Donlin and Meg Donlin and his great-nieces, Milla, Tasha, Ryan, and Reagan Hornung. Along with his parents, Ed was predeceased by his brothers Robert and Thomas Mac.
A celebration of life will be held privately with his family and friends.
