George was born in Denville, to the late George and Elizabeth (Seals) Waer. He was raised in Mount Olive and moved to Fredon Township 15 years ago. George was with R& R Construction for many years and became part of the R&R Family. George was a former member of the Garden State HOG Chapter Motorcycle Club. He loved going on motorcycle rides with his “brothers”. He took pride in his Native American Heritage. He loved being in the outdoors, landscaping his home. He enjoyed exploring our country side. He was a true Patriot. His hobbies included country line dancing and roller skating, and tinkering on his projects. He was always a practical joker and always spoke his opinion. He could teach you something without making you feel stupid. He was always there to lend a helping hand with family and friends. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends.
George is survived by his sisters, Connie Lampron and her husband Gary and Lisa Merola; his nieces and nephews, Crystal Lampron (Dan Hopkins), Joshua Waer (Jenn), Justin Lampron (Jess Young) and Madalyn Touhey; his grandnieces and grandnephews, Skylar Lampron, Sadie Lampron, Harrison and Eloise Hopkins and Kaleb, Bradley, Maxton Waer.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton, NJ. Interment to follow at Yellow Frame Church Cemetery in Fredon. Visitation take place from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the funeral home.
