James Harrison Todd III, 79, of Washington, NJ, passed away in his daughter’s arms on Thursday, June 25, 2020. As he walked through the gates of heaven, Jesus restored his sight so he could bask in the beauty of heaven.
Born in Norristown, PA, James was a resident of West Norriton, PA, before moving to Washington. He was a Regional Sales Manager for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, retiring after 29 years of service. James was a member and past president of the Lion’s Club in Worcester, PA. He was also a member of the Choroideremia Research Foundation.
The son of the late James H. Todd, Jr., and Virginia (Wessel) Todd, James was also predeceased by his wife, Margaret Anne (DeWan) Todd, in 1995. He is survived by his daughter, Susan K. (Todd) DeVoe and son-in-law, Mark M. DeVoe, of Washington; his son, James H. Todd IV and his daughter-in-law, Kate Todd, of SC; his grandchildren, Maggie DeVoe, of Washington, Mark DeVoe of Washington, Zachary DeVoe of Philadelphia, PA, and James H. Todd V of SC. He is also survived by his brother, Henry Todd of GA, and his sister, Kathryn (Todd) Crooks of Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Washington Alliance Church, 2112 NJ-57 in Washington, NJ, followed by an 11 a.m. Funeral Service. Matsonford Road in Conshohocken, PA.
