Janice was born on February 27, 1933 to the late Arthur and Mildred (Clark) Wagner. Janice grew up in Livingston and lived in West Orange for over 40 years before settling in Fredon in 1998. Prior to her retirement, she was a Bookkeeper for Foster Wheeler USA Corp in Clinton, NJ. Janice was a long time member at United Methodist Church of Newton and Lafayette Federated Church. She enjoyed spending her summers down at Hilton Head and being with her family. Above all, Janice treasured her role as a grandmother.
The beloved wife to the late James J. Cohrs, Janice is survived by her children, Donald Cohrs and his wife, Mary, Wendy Grosso and her husband, Joseph and Glenn Cohrs and his wife, Diane; her grandchildren, Kimberly Scully (Kyle), Christina Polak (Jonathan), Gina Grosso, Joseph Grosso, Douglas Cohrs, James Cohrs (Betsy), Michael Cohrs (Janessa), Matthew Cohrs and Jonathan Cohrs (Hope) and her great-grandchildren, Anastasia, Charlotte Rose and Ethan. Along with her parents and husband, Janice was predeceased by her brother, Roger Wagner.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Lafayette Federated Church, 180 NJ-15, Lafayette, NJ 07848. A funeral service will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place privately at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover, NJ.
