Judy spent over two decades working as a dedicated insurance agent at Allstate in Randolph, where she was known for her professionalism and was always willing to help clients and colleagues alike.
Her giving nature extended far beyond her career. One Friday a month, she baked homemade goods for the congregation at Newton Methodist Church, bringing joy and comfort through her culinary talents. A skilled knitter, Judy crafted beautiful blankets, hats, and scarves, which she lovingly donated to local organizations such as Birth Haven and Project Self-Sufficiency, providing warmth to those in need. Her passion for helping others was especially evident during the holidays, as she delighted in buying gifts for children, ensuring they had something special to brighten their days.
Judy’s heart was as big as her generosity, and her legacy of selflessness will live on in the lives of those she touched. Judy leaves fond memories to her beloved husband of 23 years, Robert Carey.
A visitation for Judy will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 3pm to 6pm at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St, Newton, NJ, 07860.
