
Michael was born in Oxford, NJ to the late Michael Charles Nemeth, Jr. and Marion Elizabeth Smith. He served in the United States Military in Japan for a large portion of his deployment. Michael was a factory worker in Hackettstown for many years prior to retirement. He was also an avid football fan and especially loved the Giants.
Michael was a big time animal lover and cherished his time with his family and friends. He loved the ocean and taking his grandson, Michael, fishing on the weekends. Michael would spend time with his grandchildren any way he could, often attending their sporting events. He was a devoted Christian and was a big fan of old Western movies and older celebrities, such as Patsy Cline.
Michael is survived by his grandchildren, Dana Vail, Jordan Vail and Michael Anthony Stafford; his great-granddaughter, Willow Grace; his best friend of 35 years, Kathryn Stafford; and his dear friends, Betty Ann Wills, Harold Gunderman and Mary Luker.
