Nancy was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Edgar and Esther (Arnundson) Haggerty. She grew up in Michigan and lived in Las Vegas before settling in Sussex County in 1984. Nancy worked for various Ronetco Shoprites in Sussex County as a front-end manager. She helped open the Byram Shoprite and upon her retirement, she helped run the Young Consumers program that she loved so much. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sparta and enjoyed spending time and looking after the children in the daycare program.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was also predeceased by her husband, Donald Saxe. She is survived by her children, Deborah Beltran and husband, Jose and Lisa Thomas and husband, Kyle; her grandchildren, Joseph Beltran, David Beltran, Ethan Saxe and Dylan Beleno; and her sisters, Barbara Gandolfi and Marjorie Faust.
Memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St, Newton, NJ, with Funeral Services at 7 pm. Interment will be private in Yellow Frame Cemetery.
