Peter R Hartmann Jr., age 66, of Newton, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Newton Medical Center. Peter was born in Newton July 27, 1955 to Peter and Jane Hatley Hartmann. Peter was a life long resident of Newton. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a 1974 graduate of Sussex County Technical School in Sparta, NJ
Peter was the owner and operator of Peter R Hartmann trucking for over 20 years
Peter is survived by his wife; Valerie M.( Little) Hartmann his mother; Jane Hartmann of Newton one son; Peter R Hartman of Scranton, Pa and
two brothers; Mark Hartmann of Newton and Timothy Hartmann of North Carolina two sisters; Jane Kroener of Dingmans Ferry Pa and Melanie Hartmann-Cauce of Newton and ten grandchildren. He is predeceased by his daughter; Rebecca Freeborn his father Peter Hartmann and his brother John Hartmann
