I still think back on the memories we shared, especially how Junior, the little pup I brought into our relationship, ended up in such good hands with you. Knowing he was cared for even after I left gave me a lot of peace.

Bob, it's been a year since you passed, and I only found out this year. You were truly someone special in my life, and the memories we shared—especially with Junior—still mean a lot to me. Even after we went separate ways, you remained an important part of my story. I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye in person, but you’re remembered

Bob will be remembered every day.  I can't believe it's been a year.  Riely and Yam miss you.  You were a good man and I will love you forever.  You knew me so well, you knew that the money and stuff didn't matter to me, it is YOU that I miss.  Forever in my thoughts.

I, regretfully, did not get the chance to experience life with Bob and Junior outside of surveying. Bob was certainly the ideal person to work for and spend time with in the truck every morning while heading down near Morristown to get plans. Bob had a special way of teaching and a load of patience. ‘Calm and collected’ perfectly described Bob. From his nutrition talks to his vision of remodeling his house to his stories of mountaineering, Bob was a complete package and I do not believe he ever had to ‘work’ a day in his career.  Bob and Junior certainly have a special place in my memories.

Today seems like the perfect day for me to finally write my “not” farewell.  The past few months have been very hard knowing you are not here with us. Losing you forever is so hard. You were strong, determined, a gentleman and a caring soul with a humor so big it touched the sky. You will be missed by more people than you could have ever imagined. The people you inspired were countless!  I will miss you forever but I was blessed to have been on your train of life! Rest In Peace you are loved and will always be!   BillieJo XO

Today would have been your 64th birthday.  It has been almost 4 months since you passed and I miss you more each day.

You were a good man always professional,  hard working and conscientious.  Also kind, honest, caring and thoughtful.  He would go out of his way to help others.

For me it's not about the physical things, it's about the empty feeling and the grief that I feel.

Im still in disbelief and have been trying to express the privilege I had of learning from you. 
Boss, friend, role model, smart ass, guy you’d want in your corner. A true example of love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life. A father figure of a man. 
Surveying anything that could be, painstakingly biscuit joining all of your hardwood floors, and installing skylights with mountain climbing ropes. Whatever the project, there was no stopping Robert Poole Professional Land Surveyor. 
Pump some iron, eat healthy foods, get outdoors, and take care of your finances. If you were willing to listen Bob would show you the way. I’m forever grateful for the many life lessons. I can hear you now, “be a better animal Jr!”

Bob Poole was my teacher, mentor, and best of all a friend. Bob had a tremendous impact on my life, teaching me the profession of Land Surveying. Meeting Bob as a “lost” 20 year old was like winning the lottery.  Bob had a very special way of communicating, and such a passion for the profession that going to work was fun.  You showed me the beauty of the outdoors and all the fun ways to enjoy it.  

Bob Poole you basically shaped my life, and words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for all you have done for me.  Thank you so much for being a role model  to me. This is a tough one, I will miss you Bob, Rest In Peace

I was shocked to learn of Bob's passing today.  I have known Bob for 40 years when we worked together.  As a fellow land surveyor, we often shared tales of our past projects and the people we met. He worked for my company as a consultant for many years, always with Junior in the truck with him.  He was a kind and caring man with a lust for life and will be missed by many of his colleagues.  My condolences to his family for their loss.  I will keep him in my thoughts.

I was shocked to read about Bob's passing.
As a fellow Land Surveyor, Bob worked with me, years ago, prior to obtaining his License.
Bob and I became good friends, and I would occasionally stop by his home/office, for a chat.
Bob will be missed by many, and I send my sincere condolences to his family.
If there will be future services, I would like to attend.

Bob was good friend and neighbor. For over 30 years, if we needed help we could always count on him. We always enjoyed our visits from Bob and Junior. He will be sorely missed.

This picture was actually taken at my wedding that he attended with my good friend Marlo his partner for over 8 years.Bob will be missed by many especially Marlo and their pets Riley and Yam!!My thoughts and prayers are with them all at this very difficult time.

Bob was very much a part of our family. Such a kind , decent man, who shared life with my cousin.  He and Marlo brought so much love , life, and laughter to our lives,  Holidays and Sunday football with our 4 legged playdates. He was THE  animal whisper!  His love for Marlo, Riley and yam was so apparent and contagious.

Very sad to hear about Bob’s passing, my heart goes out to my friend Marlo, she loved him dearly, and her dedication to him the last 6 months is admirable.

I am so sad about Bob's passing.  Bob always was laughing and had a smile on his face.    
My friend Marlo was with him for 8 years and dedicated the last 6 months entirely to caring for him.  He will be missed by many.

Bob was my closest friend, we biked from Port Jervis   to cape may in 2 days  to raise money for a little girl.  We hiked and exercised

I had gone to high school with Bob. 
He was an extremely likable guy and would run into him occasionally. Always had a smile on his face. 
He was also extremely professional in his business. My condolences to his family and friends. A quality person through and through !!

I loved  your Laughter and how You would Goof  on me but most of all you were a Friend if I ever needed anything you helped me. I remember the time my daughter was in college, going to ESU and had apartment and East Stroudsburg with some friends and she was at the beach was told that she had to move out that night. You Billie and me got your truck flew down to East Stroudsburg. Went to the apartment just grab what we could and  put in the truck and I don’t believe it because you were such  a perfectionist that we’re driving down 80 and things are flying out of the truck and we’re stopping to pick them up.  You are such a great friend you didn’t get mad. You just kept laughing. We all laughed.. Bob You were the best and I love the way you cared about all your pets.  You are  Loved by many and would be Missed by many too Love, Louise
