Robert L. Tavenner

Robert was born in Washington, DC to the late Carroll Lee and Catherine Elizabeth (Crooke) Tavenner. Robert was a proud navy veteran and a member of the American Legion. Prior to his retirement, Robert worked for the United States Department of Defense.

In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brother William Tavenner. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Gloria Ann Tavenner; his children, Bob Tavenner, Jr. (Barb), Debbie Lamendola (Dane), Rick Tavenner (Linda), and Steven Tavenner; his grandchildren, Christina Astorino (Sam), Jennifer Lamendola (Stephen), Dane Lamendola, II (Chloé), Tim Tavenner (Rebecca), Chris Tavenner (Emily), Ashley Kreher (Andy), Tatiyana Tavenner, Jaxson Tavenner, Abel Tavenner, Joshua Tavenner, Justin Tavenner and Steven Tavenner Jr. and his great-grandchildren, Brayden Astorino, Bennett Astorino, Charlotte Astorino, Aubri Tavenner , Harper Tavenner, Peyton Kreher and Bentley Kreher.

All funeral services will be held privately in Maryland at a later date.

The Tavenner family would like to express their gratitude for the tremendous support offered from friends and the community during his final months.
