AVILES, Alfredo Partoza, P. Eng. - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday March 9, 2014 at the age of 67. Beloved and cherished husband of 41 years to Jessica (del Mundo) Aviles. Loving father of John Cedric (Menchie) Aviles and devoted Lolo of Nathaniel Jayce Aviles. Dear brother of Norma (Armand) Commandante and Fidel Aviles and brother-in-law of Beth Aviles, Henry (Evelyn) del Mundo, Jaime (Socorro) del Mundo, and Ferdinand (Denise) del Mundo. Dear son-in-law of Leonisa del Mundo. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Ramon and Marcosa Aviles, his sister Pacita Liwanag and her husband Oscar, his brother Jesus Aviles, his sister-in-law Carmelita Aviles and his father-in-law Demetrio del Mundo. Fred worked for many years at WP London in Niagara Falls and Amec (Agra Monenco) in Oakville. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be celebrated Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
