Amanda Jane Pearce

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amanda Jane Pearce on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Amanda was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.

Amanda was predeceased by her husband, Matthew Pearce, in 2018. She was a devoted mother to her beloved son, Paul Pearce, who was the greatest joy and pride of her life.

She was the cherished daughter of Faith and Raymond Amadio, and Wayne and Mina McGean, and a loving sister to Mellissa McGean, Kim (Jamie) Hetherington, Jennifer (Gary) Perkins, Dan (Jen) Amadio, Steve (Lisa) Amadio, Adaire (Lenn) Heafey, and Rhiannon McGean. She was predeceased by her brother, Bradley Amadio (Melissa), and was a much-loved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Amanda loved her family and friends dearly. She found joy in music, books, her cats, and the simple moments of life. She had a beautiful spirit, a kind heart, and a presence that will never be forgotten.

She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love. Her legacy lives on through Paul, her family, her friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Amanda was loved more than she could ever know, and her memory will remain forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 26, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel.

In memory of Amanda, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Niagara SPCA and Humane Society.
