Anna was the beloved wife of the late Elfino Spadafora, a devoted mother to Rita (Anthony) Cardo, Joe, and Leo, and a cherished Nonna to Mia, Nico, and Julia, who brought immense joy and happiness to her life.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Elia and Loreta Persia, and daughter-in-law of the late Joseph and Maria Spadafora.
Anna was a loving sister to Barbara Sacco (Lenny Gualtieri), Guido Persia (Marisa), Ralph Persia (Eva), Carmela Petrella (Victorio), Sesta Persia, Amelia Dosa (Mario), and Fred Persia (Lisa). She was also a dear sister-in-law to Anna Spadafora (Ralph) and the late Sam Sacco.
Anna’s greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured her children and grandchildren and the time they spent together, creating memories that will be cherished forever. She found happiness in tending to her garden, enjoying meals at her favourite restaurants, and, of course, celebrating birthdays with a good birthday cake. These simple pleasures reflected the warmth and love she brought to those around her.
Anna will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the special place she held in the hearts of her family, and the countless memories that will continue to bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind a loving family and many dear friends in Canada, the United States, and Italy, all of whom will deeply miss her presence.
The family would like to extend a very special and heartfelt thank you to Anna’s loving sister, Barbara Sacco, for the unwavering love, care, and support she provided by Mom’s side. Her compassion, devotion, and presence during this difficult time will never be forgotten. We are forever grateful for the love she gave Mom and the comfort she brought to our family.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that the love she gave us will remain with us always. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.
We will always love you, Mom and Nonna, and we will miss you more than words can ever express. Forever in our hearts.
