Anna Young

Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 71 years of age. Loving wife of Brian Young. Sadly missed by her children Nicole and Christopher. Dear sister of the late Nicolas Swec (Helen), Ed Swec (the late Mary Ann), Paul Swec (Judy), Mike Swec (Joan), Johnny Swec (Rosina), Nancy Shelton, Sonja Saulnier (Ken), Phyllis Keller (Bill Leeson), and Olga Dennis (Roy). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Nicolas & Mary Swec, and by her In-Laws William & Ruth Young. Anna worked for Kimberley Clark and later as a bartender for many years at various golf courses and the Park Hotel as well as co-owned and operated Baker’s Dozen Donut & Coffee Shop on the Corner of Main St. & Ferry St. with her husband for many years.

In accordance with Anna’s wishes, cremation will take place. A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery on Friday Nov 2, 2012 at 1:00 o’clock p.m. (meet at the Main Gates). As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated and may be made through Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel.
