Anne Herlovitch

It is with sorrow, we share the news of our mother’s passing. Surrounded by her children, Anne Herlovitch slipped peacefully away on Monday, August 26, 2013, in her 82 year. She will be forever missed by her children Gaye (Gary) Siciliano, Alex (Camille), Patricia, and Douglas (Mary Anne) and by her precious grandchildren, Derek (Tina) Siciliano, Ryan Siciliano, William Herlovitch and Erica Herlovitch. She is survived by her sister, Norene (Russ) Culp and brothers, Bill (Vivian) Smith and Gary (Betty) Smith.

Our mother knew the importance of education, setting an example by earning her Honours Arts Degree in English from York University at the age of 50. She also knew the value of hard work, a value she instilled in each of her children, as she raised us on her own. Our mother loved the piano and would play anything from Beethoven to Joplin for hours totally lost in time. Most of all, our mother showed us unwavering love, sacrificing much to put each of us first. Our mother will be missed by the many who knew her spirit for life.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 4673 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls, on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
