Suddenly at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday June 1, 2014, in his 71st year. Beloved husband for 44 years of Melanie (Sundeen) McRae. Loved father of Douglas and Gordon McRae, Roderick McRae and his wife Alicia. Proud Papa of Emma and Callum. Dear brother of Eileen James (Tom), Anne Whissel (Bob) and the late Mike McRae and Mary McMaster. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Bruce served in the Canadian Army with the RCEME in Gagetown New Brunswick and overseas in Germany. After his discharge he enjoyed an eventful career as a heavy equipment operator for over 30 years with the City of Niagara Falls.
Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS Funeral Home, 5176 Victoria Ave., on Monday June 9, 2014 at 3 PM. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until service time at 3 o’clock and would like everyone to share their memories of Bruce.
