She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bruce, her son, Daniel, and her sister, Liz, each of whom she loved deeply and carried in her heart every day.

She leaves behind her loving children: Katie and her partner, Richard; James and his partner, Amber; and Dillon. She will also be deeply missed by her sister, June, and her extended family, friends, neighbours and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born with proud Scottish roots, she never missed an opportunity to surprise those around her by slipping into a Scottish accent simply because it made her smile, and everyone else laugh. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a knack for making references that often left younger generations puzzled but always entertained.

She was an avid reader with a lifelong love of mysteries and crime novels, especially those by Agatha Christie, whose stories she returned to time and again.

More than anything, she was a caregiver. Caring for others wasn't simply something she did, it was who she was. She lovingly cared for her parents through the end of their lives, stood faithfully beside her husband, Bruce, throughout his illness, and devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children. She loved fiercely, gave generously, and always wanted those she cared about to know they were never alone.

Her kindness, loyalty, wit, resilience, and unconditional love leave behind a legacy that will live on in those who knew and loved her.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in imagining her reunited with Bruce, Daniel, and Liz.

A celebration of her life will be held at 6691 Leeming Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario, on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Soup Kitchen Niagara if desired.

She will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
