Deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Chris' passing. My heartfelt sympathy to the Turpin family.
I knew and fondly remember Chris through his time playing badminton at the Niagara Falls Badminton Club. Chris was an exceptionally talented badminton player, but to me, he was always a kind hearted person. I will always remember his beautiful and positive spirit.

I'm so shocked and saddened by Chris's passing.  To lose someone so young is not fair.
It was only a few weeks ago that I ran into him as I was coming out of the Professional Building.  He had that cheekie smile he always had on him.  We chatted about the girls and how we were making out during the pandemic.  We said everyone was fine.
I wish all of your friends and extended family could physically be there with you.  Know this, we are all there in spirit and in love.  
He has gone on to a happy place where there is no more pain.  We will see him again and he is not alone.
He will be remembered with fondness and love by us and all.

Chris (or Turp, as we called him) was one of those wholly good men. We met working together on Beauty & the Beast in Niagara Falls in 2008. He had that rare combination of talent, kindness, humour and modesty. I remember going to hear him perform a live set downtown one night and he played Billy Joel’s “Summer Highland Falls.” It was the first time I had ever heard that song, and I immediately loved it (not to mention he did a great cover of it)! When I complimented him on it and asked him how he learned it, he not only sourced the piano sheet music for me, but also took the time to show me a couple of tips & tricks for getting the quick rhythm down. To this day, I always think of Chris whenever I hear or play that song. Imagine my surprise when shortly after I heard of his passing, that song came on the radio. We only worked together briefly, but Chris is a reminder that kindness is lasting. Chris, There isn’t enough space in this tiny little box for all the memories I’ve shared with you. 
All of my birthdays that you never missed all of the times he spent playing our piano and entertaining us at home.
All of the nights out at Stanley’s, the spicy olive, And every dive bar in between.
You were amazing with my kids and would’ve been a fantastic father. 
Your loud voice And infectious laugh will be engrained in my head forever.
Your beautiful white smile lit up a room every time you walked in. 
I am so incredibly heartbroken that this is the way it had to be but thank you for some of the best 13 years of my life you made it that much brighter.
I’m going to miss you and so are the hundreds of lives that you’ve touched in your short time here.
I hope you’re at peace. I love ya and so thankful All the friendships you created because truthfully you are my 6° of Kevin Bacon. 
Ryan &Dan just sounded that much sweeter and grilled cheeses from country fresh just got better.
I’m going to miss you and we’ll hangout again one day.

Oh my goodness this is heartbreaking news. Chris and I worked together on Beauty & the Beast and we had such a great time together during that contract. We totally clicked and had a similar sense of humour so we often found ourselves sitting next to one another (when the cast was out for drinks)  and Chris and I would be laughing our heads off. He was one of the great ones and will definitely be missed. 

So very sorry to hear this news.  Chris was one of the great ones. We worked at the Toronto International Film Festival a few years back and he was such a bright light. My condolences to his Family and Friends. His memory will live on in all of those whose lives he touched. Rest in Peace. 

Chris, you were such an Amazing Guy, so much talent  when  we worked together @ Bootlegger, many years ago.   You were one of my favourite  kids to work with, lots of Fun. I hadn’t seen you in a while, but the last time I did you gave me the biggest hug,  Miss You Chris ❤️Thinking of your Family @ this Sad Time. 😢 

Chris you were an amazingly talented guy with the brightest smile. I knew I loved you from the moment we met (on MySpace) lol. Our first date was at the Spicy Olive. Where we would share some of the best moments of my life.   Hanging out in your basement was another fave spot. Where we would hangout in one computer chair watching HOURS of YouTube. I loved when you would play & sing to me. I’ll never forget how sweet you were to me. I will always love you, you’re always in my heart.
