Cleo Marie Gagno

With deep sorrow, Cleo’s family announce her passing on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Oakwood Park Lodge at the age of 85. Her son Randy and her daughter Nancy wishing her a swift & happy journey to her new home. She leaves to mourn her daughter Nancy Oatley & her children Shannon (Sean) Roseland-Barnes (Oakville) and Shawn (Melanie) Oatley (Niagara Falls), and her beloved son Randy Gagno & his son Jamie (Jesslyn)(Ottawa). Great Nana Gagno will be sadly missed too by her great grandchildren Hailey & Aidan Roseland-Barnes (Oakville) and Hunter & Noah Oatley (Niagara Falls). Aunt Cleo will be missed by her much loved niece Mary Jo Panetta (Dominic) & her favourite nephew Brian DelVecchio (Moira) & their children. Cleo was blessed in her friendship with dear friends Jim Beattie & Margaret Germano, friends for years and years.

Cleo enjoyed her family, friends, politics and pets. Heartfelt thanks to the fantastic staff at Oakwood Park Lodge. She loved her extended family whom cared and loved her & treated her with dignity. Special thanks to Danijela, Dolly, Phouvonne, Ley & Michelle. Cleo is preceded in death by her husband Bruno, her parents Mint & Mary Munroe, her sister Doris DelVecchio & her husband Nick, and her daughter-in-law Lee Anne Gagno.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass in Cleo’s honour at St. Patrick’s Church, 4673 Victoria Avenue, on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11 AM with a memorial visitation in the church one hour prior to Mass. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Those who wish, may make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer Society or to the Niagara Falls Humane Society and would be appreciated by her family.
