Pidge was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. With his passing, we are all left adrift as he was the anchor that kept us all safely harboured. Without him we are lost but because of him we have the strength to go on. He taught us how to love, how to laugh and how to slow down just enough to enjoy this one life we were given. As a family we would like to thank the staff at both the Niagara and St. Catharine's sites of the Niagara Health System. The nurses were exceptional and treated him like family. The doctors spent countless hours with us through this incredibly difficult time and they together with a wonderful team offered dignity and grace to Pidge in the last days of an extraordinary life. We are beyond grateful.
A viewing will be held at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Monday, February 22 from 4 – 6 pm with a time of gathering to remember this extraordinary man starting at 6. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, plan a day this summer to go watch a baseball tourney at your local park. Pick a favourite team and be sure to heckle the other guys. Donations to The Niagara Falls Fury or The Canucks Junior B Team Would be appreciated.
