David Clinton Wilson

WILSON, David Clinton - It is with great sadness the family of David Wilson announces his sudden passing at his home in Toronto on Monday September 16, 2013 at the age of 45. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, David was the beloved son of Grace and Clint Wilson of Toronto (formerly of Fonthill and Niagara Falls), brother of Lisa (Gary) Brown of Toronto and former husband of Erin Barth of New York City. He was also a cherished friend to many. An accomplished athlete, in his youth David represented the City of Niagara Falls, A.N. Myer Secondary School and the University of Guelph in baseball, basketball, football, soccer, tennis, and curling. As an adult, David successfully completed the New York City and the Canadian International Marathons. Following university, David worked at the Toronto Board of Trade, the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau (while he resided in New York City from 1996 to 2001) and the Canadian Marketing Association. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service in celebration of David`s life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls.
