

The family of Dirma "Dee" Cloutier sadly announces her peaceful passing on June 4, 2026. Dee was the beloved wife of the late Ron Cloutier, who predeceased her in 2012. She was a devoted and loving mother to Denise Ibey (Paul) and the late Julie Roberto (Phil). Cherished Nona to Ryleigh Roberto (Luke), Sadie Watson (Stone), Benjamin Ibey (Frankie), Annie Ibey (Cameron), and Carlee Ibey (Hunter). Dee was also blessed with her great-grandson, Mackenzie Watson, who filled her heart with love and brought her so much joy. Dee took immense pride in her grandchildren and great-grandson and treasured every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her dear sisters, Lena Baldin and Norma Kerr, and her sister-in-law, Stella Cloutier, and Ann Reginato. Dee was predeceased by her sister Babs Baldin, brother Renzo Reginato, brothers-in-law Art Baldin, Mario Baldin, Jim Kerr, Andy Cloutier, Claude Cloutier, Roger Cloutier, Leo Cloutier, Red LaRose, and Joe Vitello, as well as sisters-in-law Lucielle Vitello, Juliette LaRose and Corrine Cloutier.
Aunt/Zia Dee will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Dee treasured every opportunity to gather with family, sharing stories, reminiscing, and reconnecting with loved ones near and far. She always held a special place in her heart for her family in Nova Scotia and deeply treasured these relationships.
After moving from Nova Scotia to Niagara Falls, Dee met and married Ron, and together they built a wonderful life centred on family and friendship. She worked for many years at Kimberly-Clark and later at Saint Paul Cafeteria, where she formed lasting friendships with staff she often considered her second family. Dee and Ron were fortunate to share many decades of friendship with a wonderful circle of friends. Together, they enjoyed bowling nights, dinner dances, vacations, and countless meals out, creating cherished memories and lifelong bonds.
Dee loved hosting holiday gatherings, preparing Sunday dinners, playing Scrabble, or simply enjoying a visit with loved ones. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Above all else, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and happiness.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Tuesday from 6:00–8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Patterson Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow, with an inurnment to take place at a later date.
