Dominic Caligiuri

Caligiuri,  Dominic 'Dom' - It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of Dominic "Pops" on August,14,2023 at the age of 66, with his loved ones by his side. Dom fought hard to stay with us during a five year battle with cancer. Dom is predeceased by his parents, Fortunato and Catherine (nee Fama) as well as his sister Vicky (2015) and his sons Vince (2018) and Joey (2022). Survived by his loving wife, Simonne (nee Lanni), brothers Tony (Kelly), Frank (Kelly), Sammy (Liza) and sisters Jenny (Carl) and Michelina. He cared most about his children Nick (Rita), Lauren (Mike), Brooke, Jamie Lee and his beloved grandchildren Elise, Jaylyn, Bentley, Emery, Benjamin and Madelyn. He will be greatly missed by "nephew " Antonio, his many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and all of his friends (particularly  those from the coffee club).Thank you Dom for being a living inspiration for us all. We are grateful to Dr.Yelamanchili and Dr.Juergens and their teams for their compassionate care given to Dominic during his battle. A special thanks to Sissy and Jenny for all of their support and to Shanna for her caring presence. Cremation has taken place. Please join us in celebrating Dom's life on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls. Visitation will take place from 6 pm to 8:30. A celebration of life will take place at 8:30 pm at the funeral home. A private family inurnment will take place at Fairview Mausoleum.
