Lovingly remembered by his wife Julie Fasano, who he cherished as his closest friend. He was a devoted father to Emilia (Raymond) and Paul (Sarah) Fasano and a loving Nonno to Leo and Harper.
Beloved son of the late Michael and the late Jennie Fasano. Dear brother of Frank, Tony (Susan) and the late Vito (Tanya) Fasano. Uncle to Erica, Michael, Nicole, Jordan and the late Jason Fasano. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and close friends.
Dan, alongside his parents and brother Vito, immigrated from Ruvo del Monte, Potenza, Italy, in 1953, to build a life in Niagara Falls. Dan attended Stamford High School, where his athletic talents shone on the basketball court and the baseball diamond. His love for sports remained a lifelong defining trait. He was a dedicated, long-time fan of the New York Yankees and eagerly anticipated the Kentucky Derby every year.
Dan will be remembered as a quick-witted, patient, determined and loving man who possessed a sense of humour that never failed to make his family and friend’s smile. He appreciated life’s simple pleasures and found joy in the ordinary moments of life. A man who stayed forever humble.
