Peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, August 20, 2004, in Niagara Falls, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late John Curran. Loving mother of Shirley Doyle, the late John Armstrong, the late Carol “Bunny” Armstrong, Elli (Whayne) Chester, Pat Blanchard, and Sally (Mark) Dewdney. Dear grandmother of Dehlia and Neal Blanchard and many other grandchildren. Sister of Jack, Jim, Harold, Ralph, Bill (Ann) Hawkins, Myrtle (Vern) Carson, Jean (Jim) Miller, Laura and Frances Hawkins. Mrs. Armstrong was a former employee with the City of Toronto, Public Health Department, Dental Section.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at HETHERINGTON & DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls, 905-354-5614. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, August 23, 2004 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
