SHERK, Douglas Anthony 'Sherky' - Passed away peacefully July 20, 2015 at Millenium Trail Manor in his 92 year. Predeceased by his wife Fay Sherk (2001) and daughter Mary Lou (1967). Beloved father of Doreen Sherk-Lamb and Anne Sherk. Dear friend of MaryJane Orcutt. Loving grandfather of Douglas (Shelley) Arch and great-grandfather of Carly and Michael. Survived by his sister Jean Mcgetrick of California. Predeceased by his 8 brothers and sisters. Sherky is survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Wednesday 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
