Douglas Donald Reeb

Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at Welland Hospital on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Doug at the age of 86 was the beloved husband and best friend of Vicky (nee Gazley) Reeb for almost 65 years. Loving and devoted father of the late Randy (Sharon), Robin (John Monaghan) and Patrick (Linda). Cherished grandfather of Christopher and Kayla (James), Jennifer (Campbell) and Sara, and Liam and Gillian. Proud great grandfather of Jack and Ruby. Dear brother of Ellen Fehr, the late Ruth Reeb, the late Margaret Phielsticker, the late Joanne Reeb, and the late Gail Reeb. Predeceased by his brothers in law Jack Phielsticker and Larry Fehr. Forever remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Doug retired after a hardworking career as a Millwright with BF Goodrich, later becoming Oxy Vinyls for 32 of years. He was meticulous, always making sure everything was clean and organized. Doug loved spending time with his family and friends. He gave the best hugs.

In keeping with Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to gather at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the service to celebrate his life at 11:30 a.m. Graveside interment to follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery, Niagara Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
