

SULLIVAN, Douglas James 'Sully" - Passed away peacefully at his residence with the love of his family by his side on Wednesday June 18, 2025 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of 36 years to Frances (nee Pascuzzi). Cherished by his loving family Louisa (Greg) Johnstone, Rosanne (John) Pietrangelo and Tom Bernardi. Loving grandfather of Jonathan (Ashley) Pietrangelo, Melissa (Kyle) Janssen, Jessica (Kevin) Gillies, Vanessa (Tony) Rizzi, Victoria (Brad) Palmer, Brandon and Evangelene Bernardi. Devoted great-grandfather of Peyton, Hudson, Presley, Emerson, Maximus, Beckham, Gracie, Harper, Livy, Mason, Bennett and Luca. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his brothers-in-law Sonny (Jane) Pascuzzi, Vince (Diane) Pascuzzi, best friend John (Josie) Stranges as well many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Laura (nee Reeves) Sullivan, brother Robert (Annie) Sullivan, sister-in-law Anna(Earl) Yochim and brother-in-law Carmen Pascuzzi. Doug found joy in simple things, a life long baseball fan, he especially loved cheering on the Atlanta Braves. Music was another source of comfort and joy, listening to Frank Sinatra's timeless voice, "Going My Way" gave him great pleasure. One of his favorite pastimes was going out to play golf, he loved spending time on the green, enjoying the outdoors. He worked at Kraft for over 25 years before his retirement. Well liked by all who knew him, he was even tempered, warm hearted and always happy to spend time with friends and family. The family wishes to thank Iran for her special care and support through these difficult times and the PSW's for their on going compassion. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Wednesday July 2, 2025 from 12 pm to 4 pm. A private family interment will take place at a future date.
