VENTRESCA, Elsa - Passed away peacefully at Millennium Trail Manor on Sunday January 10, 2021 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Mario Ventresca (2010). Dearly loved mother of Tony (Sue) Ventresca, Lena Smith and Angelo (Annie) Ventresca. Cherished Nonna of Amanda, Jennifer, Natasha, Nolan, Mitchell, Christina and Natalie. Dear sister of Frank (Nina) Di Placido and sister-in-law of Sam (Frances) Ventresca, Velia Ventresca and Maria Pingue. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a very community-minded person, an active volunteer at St. Ann's Church as a reader and Club Italia where she sang in the choir. She will always be remembered for her passion for cooking, she took great delight in cooking for everyone. She was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Anna Di Placido, her in-laws Carmen, Palmino, Settimio, Gino (Pina), Livio, Anna and Elena and her granddaughter Marla Smith. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions, a private family visitation and Funeral Mass will take place, followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery.
